The River Otter just before it reaches the beach at Budleigh Salterton.
There is a good walk from here inland towards Otterton and the Mill (coffee and scone).
There are plenty of opportunites for bird watching along the banks.

Have many memories of your part of the West Country; parents lived nearby, and the Otter up to Otterton/East Budleigh a favourite area. Glad to have found my way here, & wish you well (have first hand knowledge of long-term reactive depression).
